The Founder’s Story
Omar Kassem Alesayi Group (OKAG) was established in 1945 by the ambitious and visionary “Omar Kassem Alesayi”. The Group was established with a desire to create a legacy, leveraging upon the initial textile business combined with an astute vision, and entrepreneurial eyes for opportunities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Since the formative years, the group embarked on a journey of business segmentation anchored on their solid reputation in the market, deep-rooted product knowledge, traditional values, and business ethics. The philosophy set by our founder’s vision led to collaborative ventures with some of the world’s leading brand names, fostering long-term relationships along the way.
Today our founder’s family business comprises of various companies/ subsidiaries: grouped into multiple business sectors which are ” Engineering & Technology, Real Estate & Asset Development, Consumer & Trading, Electronics, Investment and Partnership”.
The late, Omar Kassem Alesayi’s vision, passion for life, business acumen and a solid foundation based on his values and professional relationships were extraordinary. As a public figure, it was his sense of humanity, that transformed him into one of the greatest businessmen in modern Saudi Arabian history.
The founders’ legacy have continued to inspire the next generation of leaders to continually transform the business along new, innovative and value- generating horizons, and in doing so continue to enrich the lives of people and their communities, as well as contribute to the development and growth of a thriving and vibrant, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The late Omar Kassem Alesayi divine soul left the earth on January 7th, 2008, and he will always be remembered for his innovative and collaborative approach to business and his value of people.
